**Please make a note that the locaton of the recital has changed.  It is now at the Frederic M Ayers Auditorium at Park Tudor School 7200 N College Ave 46240.  Only the location is changing.  The dates, times, and other recital information is not changed.  We were notified in January that the theatre at the Gene B. Glick Junior Achivement Center was being closed immediately and they canceled our rental of the theatre and chose not to honor our contract.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and your families and we appreciate your understanding.  However, the facilities at Park Tudor are beautiful and we are very excited for the children to perform there.  We look forward to seeing you at the show!**

We are very excited to announce our annual spring recital! This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to showcase how hard they work over the year and what they have learned. They are proud to perform for their family and friends on the big stage and have a blast! We would love for your child to participate.

Please read through all of this information and keep it for your records!

Signing up: The recital is optional, however it is a great opportunity for the children to have fun, build self-esteem, and gain a sense of accomplishment. If you would like for your child to participate in the show, you need to fill out a recital enrollment form and send it to our office with all fees paid NO LATER THAN January 8, 2010.

Recital Fee: There is a $18.00 recital fee this year per child. Families with more than one child in the show pay $18.00 for one child, and $9.00 for each additional child. All fees are due in January 8, 2010. This fee pays for planning, theatre space, props, decorations, and other expenses involved in running the show. This fee is non-refundable. 

Costumes: We order great costumes from specialized dance costume companies while keeping the prices affordable. The costume fee is $37.00 per child (this will include tights unless the costume has pants). A picture of your child’s costume will be posted at your school or day care and for all classes, and on your location's webpage on our site. Evening class teachers will bring a picture of your child's costume to class with them. If an individual child is in more than one class, then there is a $21.00 additional costume fee for each additional class. If your child's costume size is a XL child or above, then there is an additional $5.00 fee per costume.  All fees are due in January 8, 2010. If they are received after this date, late fees will be applied as well as additional shipping fees and we can not guarantee the costume companies will be able to provide a costume in time. All late registration will have a minimum $10.00 late fee and may also have additional shipping fees. 
Your child’s teacher will measure them in late December and early January. We will use these measurements to determine the size of your child’s costume. If they are close to another size, we will contact you and ask what size you would prefer to order. There are no returns, refunds, or exchanges on costumes.

Shoes:
Shoes are not provided as part of the costume.  Please see your click on your child's class below to see what shoes are required for their class.

Video: Cameras and video are allowed at the dress rehearsal, but not at the performance. NO VIDEO CAMERAS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE THEATRE ON THE DAY OF THE PERFORMANCE.  IF YOU BRING ONE, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO TAKE IT BACK TO YOUR VEHICLE.  A DVD of each show will be available for purchase put together by MVP Movietyme Video ProductionsPlease click here to see their website.  Order forms will be available in the spring.


Photos: We will have Jolynn Bales of Bales Photo the day of the dress rehearsal if you would like a professional picture taken of your child in their costume.  You will need to come one hour before your child's dress rehearsal to have their picture taken.  They are offering amazing prices for quality photos!    If you have more than one child, they may be in the same picture for the same package price.  You can go to www.balesphoto.com to see more about Bales Photo.  You also email any questions to jolynn@balesphoto.com.

Parent Volunteers: We can not have the show with out the help of our fantastic volunteers. Parent Volunteers help in the dressing room keeping track of their child's class and escorting them backstage and back to the dressing room. You will still get to see your child perform from the front row. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Tickets: Tickets are $5.00 (cash only) and can be purchased at the dress rehearsal and the day of the show. To order them in advance with credit card or echeck, just scroll down and click on the button below for your child's show.  Or, they are $4.50 with the donation of any new or used dance shoes, going to the Dancing Feet Scholarship Fund.  If your child will be wearing the shoes for the show and you want to donate them after the performance, please save your ticket and you can turn in your ticket and child's shoes, you will then receive the $.50 off your ticket price.   Tickets for children 6 and under are free.

Dress Rehearsal: There is a mandatory dress rehearsal on Saturday, May 22nd at the Frederic M Ayers Auditorium at Park Tudor School at times listed above.

You can buy tickets at the dress rehearsal or performance (cash only).  All ticket sales are final.  There are no refunds on ticket sales and they can not be replaced if lost.
