We offer classes at child cares, schools, community centers, and any other location you would like classes. We can come to any special event. We bring all of our own equipment and handle all payments and advertising, so all we need is a space to have class.
Meet our staff:
Sara Yanney-Chantanasombut
Director and Dance Instructor
Miss Sara starting dancing and gymnastics when she was three at various studios in Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana. She grew up with a passion for music and dance, studying Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Gymnastics, and Flamenco. She received her BA in Dance from the University of New Mexico in 2003. While attending UNM she studied Modern, Ballet, Jazz, African, Flamenco, Hip-Hop, Folklorico, Choreography, Dance Pedagogy, and Dance History. She has performed with The Blue Tribe African Dance Company, The Bill Evans Dance Company, The Blythe Edens Dance Company, and The New Mexico Contemporary Dance Alliance. She was a recipient of the Friends of Dance Scholarship, The Barbara Kiker Award for Excellence in Dance, and The Bill Evans Dance Teacher's Intensive Scholarship. After graduating with academic and departmental honors, she spent three years teaching hundreds of children in Dayton and Columbus, Ohio in dance studios, childcares, and community centers. In the summer of 2006, Sara relocated to Indianapolis and founded Jump Into Motion Dance Academy. As well as teaching, she continues her performance career appearing with Motus Dance Theatre.
Jennifer Hintz
Dance Instructor
Miss Jennifer grew up studying at the Lafayette Ballet School, where she has performed in many productions including The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Don Quixote, Etudes, and La Bayadere. She has attended classes with The American Ballet Theatre, The Rock School, Ballet Internationale, the Baltimore Youth Ballet, Gregory Hancock, Steps on Broadway, Hubbard Street Dance, Ethan Stiefal and Gillian Murphy, City Dance Company, Koresh Dance Company, and Dance Kaleidoscope. Jennifer was a teacher for many years at the Lafayette Ballet School for all ages. She has studied various styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary Dance. She graduated with honors from Central Catholic Jr. Sr. High School and is now a student at IUPUI studying Photography.
Marlina K. Lies
Assistant of New Accounts and Teacher Training/Dance Instructor
Miss Marlina studied dance at Studio M in Michigan City, IN under the instruction of Marilyn Steinheiser for 11 years. While at the studio, Marlina studied Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. She has always been very involved in her community, volunteering for The Boys and Girls Club and St. Mary's Catholic Elementary School as a second grade classroom assistant. Marlina graduated with honors from The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities in Muncie, IN. She is currently studying Art Education at IUPUI.
Angelique Parkes
Dance Instructor
Miss Angelique (or Miss Angie) studied Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Tumbling at Stage Door Dance Academy and other dance studios throughout Indiana where she also performed with company dance troupe and was a teaching assistant. In high school, Angie was also a cheerleader. In May 2005, she received her BS in General Studies with focus in Dance and Photojournalism Magana Cum Lade from Ball State University. While at Ball State she studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Musical Theatre, Ballroom, and Yoga. After graduation, she began teaching Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Tumbling, and Cheer at several local dance studios and also works part time as a substitute teacher for ages preschool-high school for the Metropolitan School District of Wayne County.
